About Us - Campground - Overnight Camping
Reservation policy:
Reservations can be made by phoning (204) 513-0210.
 
Reservations cannot be accepted prior to April 3rd for 2024.
 
Reservations are subject to availability and are guaranteed by type of campsite only.
 
Requests for specific campsites are not guaranteed.
 
Maximum length of stay: 30 consecutive days
 
All campsites reservations must be paid in full at time of booking. Confirmation numbers will be issued.
 
All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the applicable one-night camping fee.
Cancellations received prior to the day of arrival will receive a full refund (minus the cancellation charge)
No refunds issued for cancellations received on the day of arrival.
 
Minimum 2-night stay on long weekends and the annual Quarry Days weekend. No refunds issued during these times for shortened or cancelled stay.
 
No refunds or credits due to weather, late arrival, early departures, "no shows" or eviction will be issued.
 
General Rules and Regulations
Maximum occupancy of a campsite is four (4) adults or one (1) family per campsite. A family is defined as parent(s) with children under the age of 18 years. The addition of a grandparent or similar relative is allowed.
 
Un-serviced campsites are permitted a maximum of two (2) sleeping tents and one(1) dining tent.
 
Serviced campsites are permitted one (1) camping unit (tent, tent-trailer, camper-truck, camping trailer, fifth wheel, or motor home) and one (1) dining tent or sleeping tent.
 
Check in: between 4 and 9 pm. Late arrivals will be required to park in the visitor parking area overnight.
Check out; 2:00 pm
 
Pets must be under the care and control of their owners at all times. All animal droppings must be immediately picked up and properly disposed of by the pet owner.  Owners will ensure their pets do not disturb the quiet enjoyment of other campers.
 
Quiet time is from 10 pm - 7 am. 
 
Firearms such as air rifles, pellet guns, paintball guns, bows, slingshots or other like weapons are not permitted in the campground or Quarry Park.
 
Campground speed limit is 20 km/hour.
 
Campfires are prohibited except in designated fire pits and must be extinguished when the campsite is unoccupied. The cutting or gathering of living or dead wood is prohibited.
 
For security purposes the campground gates are locked from 10 pm - 8 am.
 
Campsites must be maintained in a clean, tidy and acceptable condition at all times.
 
Waste water/sewer shall be disposed of in the campground dump station or sewer drain servicing the campsite. Disposal of wastewater/sewer on the campsite or the surrounding area is not permitted.
 
No campsite will be registered to anyone under the age of 18 years of age. proof of age must be produced if requested. persons under the age of 18 years will not be permitted to occupy a campsite unless accompanied by the registered camper.
 
Explosive or noise making devices such as firecrackers, rockets, or other fireworks are not permitted in the campground or Quarry Park.
 
Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed on the permit holder's campsite. Open alcoholic beverages are prohibited on all public property, the lake, playgrounds, roadways, and green spaces.
 
Visitors are permitted to the campsite from 8 am - 10 pm. A campsite may be occupied after 10 pm only by the permit holder and registered occupants as indicated on the camping permit. The permit holder is responsible for the conduct of all persons using the campsite. Maximum number of visitors is four (4) per site.
 
Maximum number of motorized vehicles that may be parked on a campsite is two (2). All other vehicles must park in designated visitor parking areas. Vehicles may not be parked in any site other than the site the vehicle is registered to. Vehicles must not be parked in such a manner as to block the driveway of a neighboring site or to obstruct or impede traffic flow on the campground roads.
 
The operation of all vehicles within the campground/Quarry Park must comply with the Motor Vehicle Act.
 
Group Camping
Group campsites are available to Guide, Scout, or other organized youth groups.
 
Supervisors must provide direct supervision to all participants in their care at all times.
 
Groups must comply with the campground rules and regulations.
 
Group camping is available for unserviced campsites only.
 
Eviction Policy
The Town of Stonewall or the Quarry Park Manager, may, upon just cause, evict any camper from the campground.
 
Campers will be served in person a written eviction notice stating the reason for eviction and the time by which the campsite must be vacated. Eviction is final. No refunds will be issued. A camper who is evicted shall not be permitted to camp in the Quarry Park campground.
 
Failure of a camper to comply with campground rules and regulations, actions or failure of actions by the camper that contravene standard health codes or unacceptable or inappropriate behaviour or conduct by a camper or other persons or guest shall be grounds for eviction. Rowdiness, issuing threats, profanity, disorderly conduct and antagonistic behaviour are examples of unacceptable behaviour.
